FO polishing powder for grinding and polishing optical lenses
FO polishing powder is a high-performance composite micro-abrasive specially developed for the grinding and polishing of optical lenses, widely adopted in precision optics manufacturing to deliver flawless lens surface quality. Formulated with modified alumina and zirconia composite components, this powder features controllable particle size distribution, moderate hardness and outstanding suspension stability in polishing slurry, which avoids micro-scratches, pits and haze on optical lens surfaces during processing.
Its core application covers the whole processing chain of optical lenses, including rough grinding, intermediate lapping and final ultra-precision polishing. It works well on various lens substrates such as optical glass, quartz, sapphire and optical resin, catering to the production of camera lenses, fiber optic lenses, medical optical components and automotive optical lenses. During polishing, the powder achieves consistent material removal rate while maintaining excellent flatness and high light transmittance of finished lenses, effectively lowering post-processing rework rate.
This polishing powder maintains stable batch quality to ensure uniform polishing effect in mass lens production. It can be matched with different polishing machines and slurry systems, supporting customized particle specifications based on customers’ lens processing requirements. It serves as an ideal cost-effective alternative to imported premium polishing materials for optical factories. We can provide trial samples and complete technical data for production verification.
