0–1 mm 325F Zirconia-Fused Alumina for Refractory Coating
Zirconia-Fused Alumina (ZFA) 0–1mm 325F is a premium fused refractory raw material specially formulated for high-performance refractory coating production. It is manufactured by melting high-purity alumina and zirconia raw materials in electric arc furnaces at ultra-high temperature, followed by controlled crushing, screening and fine milling to achieve a matched particle gradation of 0–1mm plus 325F fine powder fraction. This tailored grain composition optimizes suspension property, packing density and coating workability, perfectly meeting the formulation requirements of refractory protective coatings.
Benefiting from its unique eutectic crystalline structure, the material combines excellent high-temperature stability, outstanding thermal shock resistance and superior slag corrosion resistance. Compared with ordinary white fused alumina, ZFA delivers higher fracture toughness, effectively reducing coating cracking, peeling and spalling under cyclic heating and cooling conditions. It maintains stable physical performance at elevated temperatures and features strong resistance against erosion from molten metals and alkaline slags. The well-controlled particle size distribution ensures uniform dispersion within coating slurry, forming dense, smooth and impermeable coating layers after curing.
This grade is widely used in protective refractory coatings for industrial kilns, ladles, furnace linings and ceramic kiln components. The finished coating can serve as a barrier layer to prevent slag adhesion, molten metal penetration and substrate oxidation, greatly extending the service life of furnace refractory linings. Strict quality control is implemented for chemical composition, grain size distribution and impurity content. Stable batch consistency supports large-scale formulation production.
Our ZFA 0–1mm 325F is a reliable functional filler choice for refractory coating manufacturers pursuing high temperature durability and anti-corrosion performance. Custom particle grading and technical support can be provided upon request.

MAIN APPLICATIONS:
1.Making zircon fused alumina brick and building materials
2.Used for making bonded abrasives products, and process of grinding, sandblasting, surface treatment of metal products and other materials.
3.With good melt erosion resistance,Zirconia fused alumina has good grinding effect on steel, iron casting, heat resistant steel and other alloy materials.
4.Zirconia fused alumina can be made for heavy duty Zirconia fused alumina grinding wheel, snagging, cutting disc,Fiber disc, grinding rails, high speed abrasive belts etc
5.Used for making coated abrasives products,
6.Used for making lapping paste,polishing wax,emery cloth,sandpaper etc
7.ZA is primarily used for steel conditioning wheels, snagging wheels, large diameter cut-offs and other grinding applications that require high speed and pressure. It’s also is recommended for refractories that require a high resistance to environmental corrosion and a low coefficient of thermal expansion. Applications include slide gates, glass tank refractories, and other applications requiring resistance to molten slags.
